It was a bit of luck that brought Jason to the Isle of Wight and to Eldridges, he says. He and his wife had been considering leaving London to bring up their children, and the seaside seemed an attractive option. Then the job at Eldridges’ Freshwater branch came up.
Jason had worked in London since completed his training, specialising in commercial and residential property, and was drawn to this side of the law because of the variety of the work. It’s nice to help people achieve what they want to do, he says.
His residential clients, who range from first time buyers – often the children of established clients – to the elderly, appreciate his warm, family man approach. His is able to bring to commercial clients the benefits of his long experience with his London firm, Orchards.
Being part of a community is something he hugely values and he and his family throw themselves into all the outdoor activities the Island has to offer. He and his children are keen runners, swimmers and cyclists and his wife has resumed her interest in sailing. There is nothing better, Jason feels, than being able to finish work and go straight to the beach.
